AROMATIC ORCHARD FRUITS BATHE IN SWEET AUTUMN LIGHT
Matured in three parallel paths, respectively in first-fill ex-Bourbon,rejuvenated ex-wine and refill casks, part-finished in casks of Pyrenean andSpanish oak ends.
Region:Highlands
Aged:14 Years Old
Collection:Diageo Special Releases 2024 - Autumn Walk
Cask Type:Matured in three parallel paths, respectively in first-fillex-Bourbon, rejuvenated ex-wine and refill casks, part-finished in casks ofPyrenean and Spanish oak ends.
Alcohol:54.7%
NOSE:A mellow nose in feel; mild overall. The first aromas suggest anorange cream cake filling, becoming orange sponge cake with a hint of vanilla.Beneath his lie a faintly waxy suggestion of flaked almonds and a light ‘green’ note, suggestingsugar snap peas or mange tout. A drop of water increases the waxy note.
PALATE:Medium Body. A creamy texture, which is quite tooth-coating. Thetaste starts sweet and centre palate, becoming tart, with a strong hint ofSeville orange peel, then drying gently as it shows its fierier side with somepeppery spiciness. A drop of water sweetens the taste and reduces the tartnessyet does
not alter the overall profile.
FINISH: Long, warming, and spicy, with a mouth-cooling aftertaste. Stillspicy with a dash of water.
