Laphroaig Oak Select 40%

 

Most approachable whisky of Laphroaig. Ablend of single malts hand-selected from five different casks, creating amellow Scotch with balanced and complex flavour. ​

 

Region：Islay

Cask Type：Blend of whiskies aged in Oloroso sherrybutts, Pedro Ximenez hogsheads and ex-Bourbon casks, finished in new Americanoak barrel.

Alcohol：40.0%

 

NOSE：Forward peatsmoke followed quickly by ripe red fruits.

PALATE：Sweet at first,followed by peat smoke and dashes of ash and seaweed.

FINISH：Long finish withlingering floral notes. Touches of marzipan and lime. ​
