A brand new series released by Club Qing in 2026 – Monochrome Essence. Thisseries explores form through removal rather than addition. Each painting isreduced to its most essential lines, allowing presence to emerge withoutdistraction. By limiting gesture and detail, the work invites quiet observationand reflection. What remains is not a representation, but an impression, amoment where shape, space, and restraint meet in balance.

In whisky, essence is not created. It is revealed.
•     During maturation, spiritloses volume to evaporation and interaction with wood.
•     What disappears is notwaste, but part of the process.
•     Over time, the whiskybecomes more itself, not more complicated.
Monochrome Essence reflects the idea that maturation is a process of lossleading to definition. The final whisky is what remains after time, wood, andpatience have removed what is unnecessary.

An expression created by carefully vatting two second fill PX sherry quartercasks. The casks were deliberately matured to enhance the angel’s share andachieve a very rounded texture. This blended malt was ranked #1 by our tastingpanel in a blind tasting of ten samples. Nose is gentle, with cream,grapefruits, papayas and green mangoes. The palate is rather sweet, with ripefruits and honey with a medium finish on citrus fruits and milk chocolate.
